Clothing for life

Well that's what buying vintage clothing is all about isn't it. I've got pieces from the turn of the last century through to the late 90s and Y2K. Fashion is an ever evolving circular movement. I remember going from the biggest flared trousers in the late 70s to spray on jeans in the 80s. Who'd have thought that the 80s would ever come back?! Well it has; in the 1980s, there was a huge Edwardian revival. It all comes and goes, ebbs and flows.

Lets get used to not buying the fast fashion that's clogging up landfills - the production of which is damaging the environment, forcing slave labour and often producing substandard pieces (you ever wondered why a cheap fast fashion top ends up looking like it's been stretched sideways after one wash?).

Buy sustainable by choosing second hand items - I wore raggedy old silk gentleman's dressing gowns in the 80s with a whole hap hazard bunch of second hand treasures. Lets get used to doing that once again and wearing pieces that no one else will have.

What we stand for

Sustainability

I want to be around for a long time, and to do that, we need to look after our planet and stop voting for tyrants.

Silliness

I do stand for silliness. In all of its' forms - mostly cat related.

Films and TV

Happy to chat 24/7 about David Lynch, Twin Peaks (90s) and currently The White Lotus.
